The “LD” stands for low drag. The mast has a 16 mm “bullet nose” profile which allows the high modulus Toray carbon mast to be flowing perfectly while ensuring great flexional and torsional stiffness. The more rounded nose of the LD Mast profile helps laminar flow stay attached to the Mast at all angles of attack and lean. So, no more worries about ventilation on sharp turns or choppy water. The 8 mounting holes in the plate give you extra room for positioning adjustments.

The 95 cm mast is designed for riders who want to push the limits. The extra height gives you more clearance when going fast. The LD 95 has a specialized outline that keeps the max chord length near the baseplate for increased torsional stiffness.
